“The Lagos Coastal Festival: Destination Badagry”
LCF is a vibrant and immersive event that invites waterfront leisure lovers from around the world to discover and experience the hidden aquatourism gems of Lagos, Nigeria. Taking place from the 12th to the 14th of December 2024, the festival is an extraordinary celebration that invites waterfront leisure enthusiasts from across the globe to discover, experience, and revel in the remarkable aquatourism offerings of Lagos, Nigeria. Set against the backdrop of the captivating coastal town of Badagry, this festival aims to showcase the breathtaking beauty of its waterfront, while providing an array of engaging activities for attendees.
The festival promises a thrilling and immersive experience right from the
start, with a two-hour transport cruise/party that will transport tourists and
participants from various parts of Lagos to Badagry, setting the tone for an
unforgettable journey. As guests arrive Badagry, a vibrant waterfront arts
and culture carnival will captivate them with its mesmerizing displays of
artistic and cultural expressions. Over the course of the three days of the
festival, participants will have the opportunity to be entertained by and
participate in a range of activities, including fishing, cultural performances,
open-water swimming, village market shopping, water fun games, art and
exhibitions, theatre performances, a tour of historic destinations and
indulging in several sumptuous seafood feasting.
LCF 2024, organized by Africa Heritage International (AHI), is a Global Social Enterprise dedicated to
promoting African Culture and celebrating black heritage worldwide. AHI is an international movement that
strives to preserve and support African culture and its people, fostering sustainable development and
nurturing mutually beneficial friendships with Africa.

The Lagos Coastal Festival 2024 is a collaborative effort between AHI and several esteemed local and
international organizations. One such notable partner is the International College of Creative Arts (ICCA), a
distinguished private institution offering world-class creative arts education to students from 20 different
countries.
